Mercedes-Benz Australia has announced E 250 and E 250 CDI ‘Special Edition’ models for the local sedan lineup, bringing added features and boosted overall value.
Based on the E 250 and E 250 CDI, the Special Editions come with the popular Vision Package, which includes a 360-degree camera for maximum around-view vision.
Adding to this, customers can also appreciate a luxurious wood and leather steering wheel, illuminated door sill plates, a comprehensive Harman Kardon surround sound stereo system with digital radio reception, and a full panoramic glass roof.
On the outside, there’s a set of 19-inch AMG alloy wheels so the edition can be distinguished from its more regular counterparts. Overall, the package provides $5100 in added value, according to Mercedes.
Under the bonnet, the same engines reside. The E 250 uses a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder producing 155kW and 350Nm, while the E 250 CDI is equipped with a 2.1-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder developing 150kW and 500Nm.
The Special Edition will be available for a limited time only. See below for prices (excluding on-road costs):
Mercedes-Benz E 250 Special Edition – $103,800
