Lotus Evora GT410 shows off Christmas tree delivery capability (video)

Lotus is getting into the Christmas spirit and has put together a humorous video showing a Lotus Evora GT410 delivering a Christmas tree to the company’s headquarters in Hethel, UK.

The company is wishing everyone a ‘Merry Driftmas’, using the Evora GT410 Sport to drift its way around the headquarters with a tree hanging from the boot area. As it travels around you might notice some iconic cars, such as an original Esprit. Lotus explains:

“While most Christmas trees travel strapped to roof racks or stuffed in car boots, Lotus knew it could do it differently with carbon fibre, a little welding and a lot of burning rubber. Using closed roads, and with thanks to an understanding security guard, the two-minute video encompasses the whole facility, and even includes two of the marque’s most famous cars (and a bike).”

It looks like the Evora GT410 Sport has no trouble carting around the tree, which we assume was firmly secured in the boot. As you might remember the GT410 uses a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine that produces 306kW and 420Nm, offered with either a six-speed manual or auto.

The GT410 Sport is on sale in Australia priced from $159,990. Check out the video below to see how it performs.
