The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Edition 507 coupe, the last car in Australia to sport AMG’s naturally-aspirated 6.2-litre V8, has just had its priced slashed to $159,507, down from $172,407 – a total saving of $12,900.
With the sedan and wagon variants now retired, the Edition 507 coupe continue on as the only C 63 model available – Mercedes’s answer to the upcoming BMW M4.
The C 63 Edition 507 develops 373kW of power (up 52kW from the regular C 63), and can cover 0-100km/h in just 4,2 seconds. Top speed is limited to 280km/h.
The Edition 507 coupe comes with a host of unique trimmings, bespoke 19-inch wheels, special blackouts on the doors, and a bonnet lifted straight from the C 63 Black Series.
With the new Mercedes-Benz C 63 moving to turbocharged technology, the Edition 507 coupe will no doubt go down as one of the final AMG cars to feature the brutal-sounding naturally-aspirated V8 engine.
