If you own a C 63 AMG, chances are, you are happy with its power. For others, there’s the VATH Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG V63 Supercharged package.
Yes, a meatlovers wrapped in pepperoni with a side of chilli beef. VATH Automobiltechnik in Germany has come up with a supercharger kit for the snarling, already high performance C 63. The AMG Coupe special in stock form comes with a 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, producing 336kW of power (358kW with the Performance package) and 600Nm of torque.
The VATH Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG V63 Supercharged package on the other hand, comes with a water-cooled supercharger setup, a barking stainless steel exhaust system, retuned ECU, and added oil coolers, resulting in a monstrous 500kW of power and equally eye-opening 840Nm of torque.
VATH says the mighty Merc V63 kit will accelerate, we assume scurrying in a dog-on-wet-tiles fashion, from 0-100km/h in 4.0 seconds, while top speed is rated at 335km/h.
To match the looks with its speed, the VATH Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG V63 Supercharged is also available with a bespoke bodykit including an angry carbon fibre rear diffuser, boot-mounted lip spoiler, carbon front spoiler, and some pumped rear wheel arches.
Inside all arches are a set of 20-inch VATH alloy wheels, measuring nine inches on the front and 11 inches on the back. These are wrapped in 255/30 and 295/25 tyres, respectively.
VATH also offers a fully adjustable coilover suspension package which drops the factory ride height anywhere between 20mm and 65mm.
Some interior options including a 360km/h speedo, carbon trimming and a new leather steering wheel are also available.
The complete VATH Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG V63 Supercharged kit is available from 64,308 euros (approximately AU$84,270).
