If you’re after the finest in luxury open-air motoring, Bentley might have just come up with something that could tickle your fancy. Introducing the Bentley Continental GT convertible by Mulliner.
Mulliner is Bentley’s in-house customisation division, specialising in all kinds of ultra premium and bespoke appointments. For the latest GT convertible, the branch has come up with an exquisite design philosophy that was developed in partnership with Princess Yachts.
Taking inspiration from yacht design, the body is coated in Glacier White and Sequin Blue, with a Galene Edition by Mulliner interior featuring elements of an oceanic lifestyle. The interior includes the finest hand-crafted materials and details, with linen and Portland hides with Camel hand cross-stitching.
The Galene Edition also includes pinstripe Walnut in open-pore form for a more authentic and natural finish, used on the centre console and dash fascia. There’s also illuminated sill plates and boot floor lines.
Bentley is planning to introduce 30 examples of the convertible by Mulliner, all powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 373kW and 660Nm. In regular form the engine is powerful enough to send the convertible from 0-100km/h in 5.0 seconds.
The special 30 also feature a four-layer roof, 21-inch Propeller wheels, a dark blue pinstripe, and Galene Edition badges. Bentley is offering the edition to worldwide markets.
