Those looking to spice up their Subaru BRZ now have the choice to option up to the new BRZ Sports Pack. The package enhances the popular sports coupe through the addition of various STI-developed accessories.
Starting with the solid BRZ foundations, the Sports Pack goes hand in hand with the character of the car. It comes with a new bodykit including a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear spoiler and diffuser, and a set of 17-inch black STI alloy wheels.
Underneath, there’s a sports lowered suspension setup, a flexible strut tower brace, and a new gear shift assembly in manual models for sportier changes. It comes with a Duracon shift knob too. For that race-like personality, there’s also a push-button start system for the engine.
The whole kit is valued at $7195 for the automatic transmission versions, and $7995 for the manual. The best part is, existing BRZ customers can have it fitted to their car as an after sales service. It can of course be ordered with brand new models as well.
Unfortunately for power heads, under-bonnet performance isn’t changed. It comes with the standard 2.0-litre naturally aspirated boxer engine producing 147kW and 205Nm. Instead, the pack is more about personalisation. Nick Senior, managing director of Subaru Australia, said,
“All indications are that many BRZ buyers want to add some performance touches to their cars and choosing Subaru-backed equipment offers great design, quality and peace-of-mind that isn’t necessarily guaranteed by after-market suppliers.”

All accessories that are fitted to the car before new vehicle delivery come with Subaru’s three-year/unlimited kilometre warranty. Existing customers fitting parts by an authorised Subaru retailer can appreciate a two-year warranty.
