It looks like Lamborghini is planning a special showcase for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in a couple of weeks, recently releasing this dark and threatening teaser image.
No details have been revealed at all, and as far as we know, there are very little rumours about that we can even speculate from. This is quite strange as Lamborghini has been very quiet about the Frankfurt show up until now.
Saying ‘the sky will never be the same’ suggests the company might be looking to unveil a drop-top roadster of some kind. Could it be the Spyder version of the Huracan perhaps?
We have also heard Lamborghini is planning a new flagship model which will help celebrate company founder Feruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday. But that model isn’t expected until the Geneva show given the birthday lands in April, 2016.
The company recently unveiled the Aventador Superveloce Roadster. It’s possible it might be planning a European public debut for the hypercar. Either way, this one has us all out of ideas. We will have to wait and see.
