Ferrari has unveiled a special edition California T model, created by its Tailor Made faculty to celebrate Ferrari’s racing success last year.
The custom California T was created through the Tailor Made programme via a dealership located near the Spa-Francorchamps Grand Prix circuit. It was made to celebrate Ferrari’s conquering of the 24 Hours Pro-Am Cup, in the 458 GT3.
The California T remains unchanged mechanically from the stock version, powered by a 3.9-litre direct injected twin-turbocharged V8. The end result is a near race-ready 412kW of power and 755Nm of torque, which is good for 0-100kmh in 3.6 seconds.
However, it does receive a special racing livery similar to the 458 GT3 race car, Rosso Corsa paint, along with red, blue and white racing stripes, and matt Argento Nurburgring wheels finished with yellow around the rim.
Inside there is even more Alcantara than usual, more carbon fiber, and something that Ferrari calls SuperFabric around the cabin adding to the custom feel of this one-of-a-kind Ferrari. The fabric is a “bullet-proof material featuring a 3D surface finish,” Ferrari says.
This package isn’t necessarily a limited edition mode that interested buyers can purchase, although, Ferrari’s Tailor Made division can create all kinds of different personalisation touches to any model.
