The next line of BMW M Performance accessories have been revealed. This time for the new 2015 X5 M and X6 M high-performance SUVs.
BMW’s M Performance sub-brand specialises in developing unique accessories and options for almost all BMW models. For the X5 M and X6 M, there’s bespoke grille sets with black slats, and matching side grilles in the front guards.
Further boosting exclusivity, buyers can opt for handmade carbon fibre side mirror caps, a custom rear diffuser with sections in high-gloss black, and a smattering of M stripes in the front intakes and along the sides.
On the inside is where there is even more personalisation potential, with optional illuminated M Performance side sill plates drawing your attention as soon as you open the door, as well as a full suite of carbon fibre trimmings. Carbon fibre is used for the gear selector, door handles and various parts of the centre console and dash.
BMW M is also offering a plush Alcantara sports steering wheel with a blue centre stripe like in a racing car, matching Acantara around the gear selector, and some stainless steel pedal covers.
The company says options like these increase the value of the car, while complying with all factory warranty. Punters can opt for M Performance parts in Australia although the new X5 M and X6 M are yet to arrive locally.
