Kia Motors America will debut its High-Performance K900 concept at the upcoming 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, showcasing a range of possibilities in regards to performance upgrades.
Unique features will include custom ‘blended’ grey paintwork, 21-inch gloss black wheels, a bespoke bodykit with carbon fibre additions, blacked-out chrome trim, and lowered sports suspension.
The K900 uses a 5.0-litre V8 producing 313kW and 509Nm, however, it’s possible that the High-Performance K900 concept could sport a pair of turbochargers to boost power well beyond the factory figures. Kia Motors America commented,
“Exceptional performance and personalised style are prerequisites for the machine that carries a racing driver or team owner to and from the track on a daily basis, and the High-Performance K900 delivers both.”
Perhaps this concept is a test for Kia to see how people respond to a high-performance variant of its new flagship luxury sedan? Maybe it wants to take on the likes of the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E 63? We’ll bring you more information when the car is revealed in full next month.
If you’d like to see the High-Performance K900 concept in person it will be on display at the SEMA Show, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 4 to 7.
Good looking, rear wheel drive road version please. Turbo 6
