A range of BMW M Performance accessories has been announced for the latest 2014 X5 SUV. The various bits and pieces give the luxury off-roader a distinct performance theme.
Customers will soon be able to option a full bodykit for their X5. The bodykit includes unique front and rear bumper bars, a neat diffuser section at the back and front and rear spoilers.
Most of the body add-ons are made from lightweight carbon fibre, such as a new front splitter, side mirror caps, and rear diffuser fins. Special black-painted front kidney grilles and sill panels match the colour scheme. There’s also a set of 21-inch alloy wheels.
Options are not limited to cosmetics either. M Performance is offering a unique engine computer tune which gives the 3.0-litre xDrive35i a boost from 225kW to around 240kW, while torque is lifted from 400Nm to 450Nm.
For the really keen driving enthusiast, you can option for the whopping 19-inch performance brakes which are clamped by six-piston calipers.
All parts and options are backed by BMW warranty.
