Peugeot Australia has launched the model update for the sexy 2013 Peugeot RCZ. The new model showcases a minor facelift with a restyled front end, added standard equipment, and 19-inch alloy wheels across the board.
From the front, the new RCZ features a revised grille and a lower grille which extends right up to the LED daytime running lights. Sitting just above the LEDs are a set of Xenon headlights with titanium surrounds.
The A-pillars have also been updated with a matt black look as opposed to the previous brushed aluminium style. These match matt black brake calipers and the black grilles at the front. To top it all off, the 2013 RCZ comes with 19-inch alloy wheels as standard.
Inside, the RCZ now comes with satellite navigation as standard, while the dash features two aluminium inlays, with some revised door trims and some black detailing around the gear level.
In the back the same generous boot space is retained, offering 384 litres, expandable to 760 litres with the rear seats folded down.
Powertrain packages remain untouched. There’s a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder producing 120kW and 340Nm, a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol with 115kW and 240Nm, and the top-spec 1.6 turbo with 147kW and 275Nm. A high performance RCZ R with 191kW is set to go on sale early next year.
Prices for the new model start at $58,990 across the board, which is $4000 more expensive than the outgoing version.
