Misha Designs plans epic Ferrari 488 GTB aero kits

Misha Designs has announced two stunning bodykit plans for the already-gorgeous Ferrari 488 GTB that give the prancing horse that FXX K treatment, at a fraction of the price.

First up, the disappointing news; Misha’s kit for the 488 GTB features only aesthetic changes, no power upgrades unfortunately. Power remains supplied from the 2016 International Engine of the Year winner, the 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 492kW/760Nm. These figures combine for a 0-100km/h sprint in three seconds flat, and a top speed of 330km/h.

Looking past that though, Misha Designs’ envisioning of the 488 makes a damn good impression of Ferrari’s most hardcore products, like the track-only FXX K.

Misha Designs is offering two kits, the most aggressive of which is pictured here with a larger rear wing, side profile and front splitter finished in carbon fibre, with three-inch fenders at the front and rear.

All parts of the bodykit are said to be easily installed, utilising Ferrari’s factory mounting points for the new carbon fibre body parts.

The company has confirmed that just twenty units of the more aggressive kit will be produced, with orders currently being taken, set for delivery commencing in April or May this year.

At this stage, Misha Designs has only supplied official renders, so we’ll report back when we’ve got some photos of the bodykit in the metal, or in this case, carbon fibre.
