Liberty Walk plans epic wide-body kit for McLaren 650S

Japanese supercar samurais Liberty Walk have taken their blades to the McLaren 650S, and will soon offer a wide-body kit that takes the car to a whole new level.

Liberty Walk McLaren 650S-preview

With an enlarged intake duct, a stickier tyre package, ginormous fixed wing, protruding carbon splitter, and snake-like ride height, this previews shows a dramatically different overall effect. The changes are quite extensive, including cutting into the bodywork itself to achieve the stance.

Liberty Walk generally caters to a super-rich clientele who want more outrageous yet tasteful body modifications. Work done on the wheel arches, and stance of the deep dish and (usual) racing tyres, set their cars apart from other tuners.

The Liberty Walk 650S continues a theme shown on their rendition of the Ferrari 458 of last year, their outrageous blue Nissan GT-R, and even their humble MINI. The firm also fields a modified Lamborghini Murcielago in the Japanese Drift Championships.

There’s no speak of any engine tuning, but given the standard 650S comes with a 478kW 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 capable of showing off a 0-100km/h time of just 3.0 seconds, we doubt anybody is going to be complaining.
