Kia Australia is announcing a ‘Family Pack’ option for the Kia Sorento, bringing $3400 in added value at no additional cost. It comes just as the all-new model is revealed.
The Family Pack is designed to bring together most of the popular accessories for the Sorento into one package. And it’s being offered at no charge, which means buyers are presented with a very tempting proposition in this competitive market segment.
Included in the pack is an alloy nudge bar at the front, matching side steps, and a tow bar kit at the back. These not only give the popular SUV a more exclusive look, the items are a must-have for camping and boating enthusiasts.
Turning to the interior, the cargo area gets a durable mat to protect the carpet, with all seats also getting mats to help protect the floor from muddy boots and the like. There’s also a set of weather shields for the windows for enhanced all-weather comfort.
Like all Kia models, the Sorento comes with an industry-leading seven-year warranty, seven-year capped-price servicing, and seven-year roadside assistance for complete peace of mind. The range kicks off from $39,990 drive-away for the Si auto.
So far this year (as of September VFACTS figures) Kia Australia has sold 1954 examples of the Sorento, giving it 2.4 per cent market share. Sales are down 14.3 per cent on 2013 figures during the same period. It sits behind market leaders such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee (12,932) and Toyota Prado (12,397).
