BMW has released images of the M Sport package for the recently revealed new 2 Series Gran Tourer. The option, as always, adds a certain flair and sportiness to the factory model.
These first images released by BMW show the new model painted in the beautiful Estoril blue colour scheme, harking back to BMWs of yesteryear. With the M Sport pack, the body is immediately enhanced by a set of 18-inch alloy wheels in 468M design.
The M Sport package also comes with a new front bumper featuring more aggressive intakes, high-gloss black painted kidney grilles, and redesigned side skirts for a sharper look. The rear of the car shows off a diffuser, with chrome exhaust pipes discreetly sticking through.
Inside, there’s the usual list of upgrades, including an M Sport steering wheel, M Sport gear lever, new sport seats with lashings of Alcantara, special sill plates, and sports pedals.
The M Sport package will be a $7000 premium over the base 216i model in overseas markets. A potential launch date for Australia, including pricing, is yet to be announced. Overall though you’d have to agree this is one of the sportiest factory MPVs around.
