Mercedes-Benz has announced some sporty AMG accessories for the C-Class, in particular, the C 450 AMG Sport and AMG Line models. They add a touch of exclusivity to the popular luxury sedan.
Buyers can option for a special AMG front splitter system giving the sedan a more aggressive front end appearance. To match, a set of side skirts have been developed and skirting for the lower rear bumper bar.
If that’s not enough, the sub-brand is also offering a diffuser section for the back, and unique AMG sports decals for the side profile. A set of AMG alloy wheels complete the distinguished look.
Mercedes says the bodykit parts of produced using a process it calls thermoforming, and come pre-prepared in gloss black to avoid installation hassles. As such, the parts are mountable with short installation times.
The company is planning to release more bespoke AMG accessories and parts at the end of this year. Accessories will be AMG’s answer to options from BMW’s M Performance sub-brand and the Audi quattro and S-line brands.
The full package will be on display through an interactive touch screen at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show which starts on September 15. Show-goers will be able to browse through the AMG accessories catalogue.
