Nissan has added two new models to its Nismo family; the Note Nismo and Note Nismo S. Each model offers different levels of performance as well as sporty interior and exterior enhancements.
The Note Nismo drops the regular model’s naturally aspirated 1.6-litre four-cylinder in favour of a supercharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder with CVT transmission. The higher-spec Note Nismo S features a 1.6-litre four-cylinder that produces 103kW at 6400rpm, and drops the CVT for a five-speed manual transmission.
The S model adds discs at each corner, as well as a high-flow intake manifold and a louder exhaust. Both cars also feature a stiffer ride in the name of increased handling performance.
Exterior details include LED daytime running lights, red detailing on the lower front bumper, side skirts, and mirror caps, a neat rear diffuser, chrome exhaust tip, a rear roof spoiler, as well as Nismo badging front and rear.
Both cars receive bolstered sports seats with unique seat trim and a sports steering wheel. The S model adds aluminium pedals, a new gauge cluster, and a bespoke gear knob.
The Nissan Note Nismo and Nismo S are only available in Japan, with no plans in place to offer them to other markets around the world.
