Chevrolet has released a short teaser video of the next-generation 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7. The new model will be unveiled at the 2013 North American Auto Show in Detroit on January 13.
This is now the seventh generation Corvette, and it’s going to be quicker than the current C6 model, with improved handling. It will also showcase advancements in technology inside and out.
As you can see in the handful of teaser images below, the new Corvette will feature a number of interesting design elements. There’s new vents and grilles scattered about the place, and a new badge design. A quad-outlet central exhaust layout will remain.
There’s still limited concrete details on the new Corvette, in terms of what engine will lie beneath the bonnet. According to international speculation, a likely engine is a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 producing more than the 325kW output of the current 6.2-litre C6.
