The Ferrari 488 GTB has received a power makeover from our friends over at Novitec Rosso, pushing output up to megacar-like 568kW.
Engineers managed to extract another 76kW and 132Nm from the stock 488 GTB’s 492kW/760Nm twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V8, with figures standing at a total of 892Nm of torque, and 492kW. The team managed this through a remap of the injection and ignition systems, as well adding a shedload more boost. A new exhaust system was also installed to manage the increase in pressure.
As you can imagine, extracting that much power is sure to do something to the top speed. Novitec Rosso’s 488 GTB hits 0-100km/h in just 2.8 seconds, a shave of two-tenths of a second. Top speed has also risen up from a modest 330km/h up to 342km/h.
To match the muscle, Novitec has lowered the 488 by 40mm, added its in-house hydraulic suspension system with active damper control, a new carbon fibre aero kit, and added redesigned lights with dark tinting.
To top it all off the 488 GTB by Novitec Rosso rides on forged 21-inch wheels, finished in black, wearing Pirelli 255/30 ZR 21 front and 325/25 ZR 21 rear rubber.
