Volkswagen demos the epic VW Beetle GRC (more in-depth)

Remember the Volkswagen Beetle GRC teaser from last week with rally driver Tanner Foust? Volkswagen has now released a longer video demonstrating more of its performance along with some details discussed by key figures.

You get to see the mental Beetle whipping around and performing some classic rally car drifts and jumps. It’s powered by a 1.6-litre TSI turbo four-cylinder engine producing 405kW, derived from the engine used in the Polo WRC car.
