Tuning house Hamann has released a wide-body kit and series of powertrain upgrades for the 2017 Range Rover Evoque.
The kit has been designed for both three-door and five-door variants, and adds a low-slung front bumper complete with a series of custom grilles. Hamann’s optional progressive suspension brings a lower ride height by 30mm, with an aggressive front bumper barely raised from the road.
Around the back, Hamann has remounted the exhaust in the centre in a new dual-pipe look, added some new door sills surrounded by those massively flared wheel arches. There’s also an option for a set of loud and proud 22-inch alloy wheels, finished in silver, black or hyperblack.
Hamann’s power upgrades can be applied to both petrol and diesel variants, with the diesel modification taking output from 141kW/420Nm up to 164kW/480Nm thanks to some archetypical German engineering. Hamann’s tuning chip optimises the ignition map of each the TD4, eD4, SD4 and Si4 engines.
Tweaks to the most powerful 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo Si4 powertrain have brought output up from the stock 180kW/340Nm up to 193kW/395Nm. This should provide reasonably swift acceleration.
Special touches on the inside include some custom Hamann aluminium pedals, LED welcome lighting, and pearl velour floor mats with silver Hamann embroidery.
