Ferrari has unveiled a handful of special vehicles based on the Ferrari FF, each showcasing a unique customised theme under Ferrari’s Tailor Made program.
Many carmakers are coming up with custom order packages and ‘special operations’ divisions. These are designed to help customers personalise their car to make it a bit more exclusive than the next. Ferrari has been offering the service for years, and officially launched the Tailor Made setup in 2011.
The Ferrari FF examples each feature a unique theme, including unique interiors with wear-resistant ‘Microprestige’ fabric, Kvadrat, even corduroy and tartan for a real exclusive look.
On the outside, examples show off bespoke paint colours including Blue Oceano, triple-layer Bianco Tartan, and a matt Grigio Abu Dhabi. Customers can also select from a range of alloy wheel colours, such a dark sinister styles to a cleaner and brighter polished look.
No changes are made to the engine, but that’s not such a bad thing as it’s a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 485kW of power and 683Nm of torque. It’s connected up to a seven-speed dual-clutch auto transmission sending power to Ferrari’s first ever all-wheel drive system.
Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes just 3.7 seconds, while the official average fuel consumption is 15.4L/100km. The Ferrari FF is on sale in Australia right now. Prices start at $624,646.
