Autopsy results have come through on Paul Walker’s car crash that tragically took his life last month, with evidence suggesting the crash occurred at over 160km/h.
Walker, perhaps most famous for his leading roles in the Fast and Furious movie series, was travelling in a friend’s modified Porsche Carrera GT last month on his way back from a charity function when the accident happened.
It’s understood the driver lost control and slammed into a tree and bounced off a pole, spinning, only to stop at another tree.
Security footage confirms the V10 supercar caught fire some time after the final impact, burning the two occupants to the point where identification was not possible.
According to the autopsy reports the crash was so savage it caused extensive traumatic injuries to both Walker and driver Roger Rodas, with severe head fractures and other gruesome afflictions. The two were killed before the car caught fire.
In related news, Brain O’Conner, the character played by Paul Walker in Fast and Furious, will reportedly ‘retire’ in the upcoming Fast and Furious 7 movie.
