Volvo V60 T5 Ocean Race limited editions announced

Volvo Australia is introducing a new limited edition range, available as the Volvo V60 T5 Ocean Race, Volvo XC60 D5 Ocean Race, and the Volvo XC70 D5 Ocean Race, all celebrating the V0lvo Ocean Race which has just landed in Auckland, New Zealand.

Each model is based on the respective Teknik package, and come with a smattering of special features and trimmings for a unique touch. Additional equipment includes new 18-inch Argus alloy wheels, cross-stitched leather upholstery, aluminium inserts in the dash, as well as a number of Volvo Ocean Race logos and badges.

All three models are available in two unique exterior colour schemes, including Ocean Race Blue II or Electric Silver metallic. Lennart Stegland, president of the Special Vehicles Division at Volvo Car Corporation, recently said,

“There are many features that subtly reference boats and sailing. The stitching on the upholstery traces its roots to sail-making, while the design of the unique wheels has been inspired by the movement of the ocean’s waves.”
