Mercedes-Benz tuning specialist VATH has come up with a supercharger kit for the already brutal Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series. The kit is similar to the normal C 63 AMG supercharger package the company offers.
Called the V63 Supercharged, the mighty Merc’s 6.2-litre V8 is boosted from its stock 380kW power rating, to a huge 556kW figure. Torque is also pushed from the standard 620Nm figure out to 800Nm.
The complete kit includes an air-to-water intercooler, a new stainless steel exhaust manifold and high-flow catalytic convertor, as well as a remapped engine computer.
After the modifications, acceleration from 0-100km/h can be handled in just 3.6 seconds, down from the standard 4.2 seconds, while top speed is 350km/h.
VATH also offers a complete suspension and braking upgrade kit, with 20-65mm lowered springs and adjustable shock absorbers, and a set of 405mm front brake rotors.
To finish it all off, the company’s demonstrator features 20-inch three-piece forged alloy wheels. A 400km/h speedo and carbon or wood trim can be added to the interior as well.
Prices start at 38,500 euros for the complete engine and exhaust package, while the suspension modifications will set you back 2490 euros, and 5490 euros for the braking kit.
