To celebrate St Valentine’s Day, Renault Australia is releasing just 40 special edition models called the Renault Clio RS Angel & Demon edition. They come with a number of high-performance features and special trimmings.
Based on the Renault Clio RS, the Angel & Demon edition comes with the potent little Renault Sport 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine, producing 147kW of power and 215Nm of torque.
Just 666 of these special editions will go on sale world wide, each featuring 18-inch gloss black Interlagos Megane R26 R alloy wheels, hiding a set of red-painted Brembo brakes. The lightweight wheels feature asymmetric Bridgestone RE050A performance tyres.
Distinguishing the Renault Clio RS Angel & Demon edition from its slightly less flamboyant counterpart includes the option of two special matt colour schemes – Hologramme Grey or Toro Red – with gloss black trimmings. These include the rear diffuser, the roof, front and rear spoilers, and doors handles and side mirrors.
Inside, the Angel & Demon edition comes with leather Recaro bucket seats, a bespoke metal gear shifter, a Renault Sport Monitor for in-car telemetry, a unique number plaque, and a red-stitched sports steering wheel. It also comes with creature comforts such as auto climate control, a multimedia connection box, and Bluetooth connectivity.
As an optional extra for those who really want to stand out, there’s also an optional Angel & Demon ‘tattoo’ for the left rear side quarter window and pillar.
Prices start at $39,990, while deliveries are set to take place in March. Better get in quick, these special editions will sell fast.
