Honda Australia is introducing the 2015 Jazz for the local market, bringing an updated design, class-leading interior space, and three trim levels to the game.
This is now the third generation Jazz which Honda is calling “all new”. It comes with an impressive list of standard features across the board, including a three-mode rear-view camera, a full colour touch-screen infotainment system, comprehensive connectivity, and ample storage and cargo capacity. Honda Australia director Stephen Collins says,
“Its fun-to-drive character, versatility, state-of-the-art connectivity and long list of standard features are packaged brilliantly in a new, sporty design with a range of vibrant colours that will definitely appeal to our younger customers.”
All of the range – the VTi, VTi-S, and VTi-L – are propelled by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder engine developing 88kW of power at 6600rpm, and 145Nm at 4500rpm. It’s connected up to a CVT auto transmission for all variants except the base model VTi manual.
Out on the road the CVT models have an average fuel consumption rating of just 5.8L/100km, while the manual uses 6.2L/100km. Performance times in terms of 0-100km/h acceleration haven’t been mentioned.
The new model is now on sale and available at your local Honda dealer. Starting prices are as follows (excluding on-road costs):
