If you’re in the market to get some more excitement from your Audi A6/RS 6 Avant, you might want to check out Prior Design’s latest wide-body kit and powertrain upgrades.
The current C7 generation A6 has been around for half a decade, and Prior’s kit is sure to have some weak in the knees with its added muscle.
First thing first, the added power. Prior has two powertrain packages available, putting the 3.0-litre TDI engine on steroids, upping the outputs from 230kW and 650Nm to a staggering 302kW and 807Nm. Performance figures haven’t been mentioned but we suspect it is a hell of a lot quicker.
The second powertrain option takes the fire-breathing 4.0-litre TFSI bi-turbo V8 and adds a completely unnecessary 82kW and 130Nm, for a total of 493kW of power and 830Nm of torque. In standard form the RS 6 already achieves 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
To match the power, Prior has made a wide bodykit especially aggressive. There’s completely redesigned front and rear bumpers, low side skirts, those massive wheel arches, and a larger rear spoiler and a new diffuser.
Prior’s kit adds 8cm in width to the front of the car, and 10cm to the rear. The suspension recalibration has also lowered the ride height for that perfect tough stance. A set of 21-inch Vossen VPS-310 alloys, matching the matte finish of the body, complete the package.
