We always hear of tuners modifying the Golf GTI and Golf R. Noak Tuning has done things a bit differently and turned its attention to the more popular Mk7 Volkswagen Golf TSI and its 1.4-litre engine.
While the Golf GTI is the obvious choice for hot hatch fans, the TSI is actually the more popular model. It comes with a 1.4-litre TSI turbocharged four-cylinder producing 103kW and 250Nm.
Noak Tuning uses a RaceChip Ultimate engine computer chip to optimise turbo pressure and fuel mapping, resulting in 133kW and 315Nm.
The complete package goes further than just some engine tweaks though. There’s a customer bodykit with a unique front spoiler setup, thick side skirts, and a gloss black diffuser layout at the back with central-outlet exhausts.
To help give it a tough stance a KW Inox Line coilover suspension kit is bolted up, offering adjustable settings and a lowered ride height. The body now sits neatly over a set of Schmidt XS5 20-inch black alloy wheels.
This would be a cool daily driver, offering a blend of excellent fuel economy along with a fat white and black theme, and decent poke from the engine.
