Want more power from your Audi TT RS? We’ve got good news for you. Mcchip-dkr has come up with a tuning kit that boosts power and torque to a tasty new level.
In factory specification the TT RS features a 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine that produces 250kW and 450Nm. Thanks to some Mcchip-dkr magic, the TT RS is able to punch out a whopping 348kW and 610Nm – a gain of 98kW and 160Nm.
The increased output is thanks to an upgraded turbocharger, a new sports exhaust system with sports catalytic converters and downpipes, some intercooler magic, and some software changes.
In factory specification the TT RS is able to shoot from 0-100km/h in just 4.6 seconds, and although no number is specified by Mcchip-dkr, we have little doubt the new found power would see the little Audi break into the three-second club.
The kit is based on the now-previous generation Audi TT. According to RedBook, used 2012 Audi TT RS models have a private sale price of $67,100 to $73,200. If you can pick one up for that price and leave some money aside for tuning, you’ll certainly get a lot of bang for your buck.
