Walkinshaw Performance has announced the W507 package for the LSA 6.2-litre supercharged Gen-F GTS, which will be available through the company’s national dealer networks as of today.
The kit consists of a pulley upgrade kit, ceramic coated headers and catalytic converters, a dual active cat-back exhaust, a new cold air intake, W507 ECU calibration, and W507 decals and certificate of authenticity.
As a result of the new performance upgrades power is lifted to 507kW and 850Nm, up from that car’s factory output of 430kW and 740Nm. Buyers will be happy to know that the kit will fall in line with the car’s existing new vehicle driveline warranty.
Walkinshaw general manager Tony Harris stated that whilst there were many highlights in the history of Walkinshaw Performance Products, this is the best engineered package they have ever produced.
“It feels incredibly powerful, even more than the 507kW indicated, and that is due to how each component in the package has been designed to complement each other. Every single component that makes up this package is unique in its design and the pulley is actually manufactured in the Walkinshaw Racing production facility.”
The kit is compatible with both the Gen-F HSV GTS sedan, and GTS Maloo, and is priced from $7,990 to supply and fit. The Gen-F HSV GTS is on sale from $94,490, with the GTS Maloo starting from $90,490.
