Fans of Formula 1 driver Mark Webber can snap up a piece of racing history, with his 2004 Jaguar R5 F1 car on sale in the UK for 299,000 pounds (AUD$510,540).
The impressive vehicle was listed with website F1-sales.com recently and comes in the Jaguar team’s complete green livery. Powered by a Cosworth CK V10 engine, the lucky buyer can also purchase a range of spares for the car and the original pit equipment.
Webber moved to Jaguar in 2003 after his F1 debut with Minardi in 2002. He spent two years with the Jaguar team but had very little luck, as the car was plagued by engine troubles.
However, Webber’s time at Jaguar team helped him garner interest from bigger teams, resulting in his switch to Williams in 2005.
