Audi has announced three special edition models for the Australian market. The Audi R8 Carbon Edition, Audi TT RS Limited Edition and the Audi RS 5 Coupe Limited Edition. Each model comes with additional equipment and features, worth up to $27,200.
First up is the Audi R8 Carbon Edition. For an additional $10,900 over the normal Audi R8 price, Audi is offering added extras to the popular Audi R8 supercar totalling $38,100. Extras include new 19-inch twin five-spoke alloy titanium-finish wheels as well as a number of black exterior highlights.
The key ingredient to the Audi R8 Carbon Edition is of course, the addition of carbon fibre trimmings. These stretch from carbon fibre side mirrors, to illuminated carbon door sills, to a carbon fibre front and rear spoiler, including a carbon rear diffuser.
Engine and driveline specifications for the Carbon Editions will remain unchanged from the normal Coupe and Spyder lineup. The Audi R8 Carbon Edition is available in four colours: Daytona Grey, Ibis White, Phantom Black, and Suzuka Grey.
Audi plans to sell just 10 Audi R8 Carbon Edition models, with prices ranging from the following models:

Next up on the list is the Audi RS 5 Limited Edition. This will come with a smattering of added extras, including a black-themed exterior package, as well as 20-inch five-arm Rotor alloy wheels in titanium finish, a panoramic glass sunroof, and a sports exhaust system.
The Audi RS 5 Limited Edition will also come with an enhanced interior package including a Bang & Olufsen surround sound stereo system and electric seats with driver’s seat memory. Special, more heavily bolstered ‘RS’ bucket seats are also an option.
As an optional extra, on both the normal Audi RS 5 and Limited Edition, Audi has introduced a Sport Suspension Plus package which brings Dynamic Ride Control (DRC). The DRC offers three different driving modes and adjusts shock absorbers accordingly, with ‘comfort’, ‘auto’, and ‘dynamic’ modes providing different handling characteristics.
The Audi RS 5 Limited Edition comes with a same RS 5 engine and driveline package of the normal RS 5, consisting of a 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 pumping out 331kW and 430Nm of torque. The unit is matched up to Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive and S tronic seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Audi is offering just 25 of these Audi RS 5 Coupe Limited Edition models in Australia, with prices starting at $175,300.
Last up is the Audi TT RS Limited Edition. Like the Audi RS 5 Limited Edition, the TT RS comes with a black-themed exterior styling package, as well as 19-inch versions of the five-arm Rotor alloy wheels with titanium finish.
Other highlights include a sports exhaust system for the already raspy 2.5-litre five-cylinder TFSI turbocharged engine, outputting 250kW and 450Nm, a BOSE sound system, LED interior lighting, Adaptive headlights, and more leather inside.
All up, the extras provide $8460 of added value on top of the normal Audi TT RS price. Audi plans to sell just 45 of the Audi TT RS Limited Editions. Prices start at $139,900 (with seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission).
