As string of updates have been announced for the introduction of the 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport range, with boosts in safety, comfort, and packaging.
Available in three main variant lines, spanning from the five-seat GLX, the GLS and the top Exceed. For the first time the GLS model is being offered with a five-seat option and not just the GLX. This helps bring down the price point for the GLS grade.
In terms of the visual changes, the 2018 model adds new 18-inch alloy wheels for the GLX, while the Exceed receives a tailgate spoiler for that sporty look. Other than that, the Pajero Sport exterior carries over unchanged, offering a tall body-on-frame layout adopting the same platform as the Triton.
Inside, two USB ports have been added for the second row of seats, while the front continues with two USB ports but with an added 150W/220V three-prong auxiliary outlet. The 120W outlet in the current model has been moved to the back of the centre console.
All models come with soft console trim for improved leg comfort, and the GLS receives a new Pitch Black Pearlescent exterior colour option. All continue with the 2.4-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder powertrain producing 133kW and 430Nm, featuring part-time four-wheel drive.
