TC Concepts plans styling upgrades for the Lexus RC F

The new RC F V8 coupe from Lexus is about as good-looking as Japanese cars get. From it’s curvaceous body, to its imposing front clip; it’s stunning from every angle. If that isn’t’ enough, TC Concepts has just released a teaser image of a kit that looks to make the already-buff body even chunkier and wider.

The kit appears to consist of new front guards, a custom rear bumper with a race-car-like rear diffuser, racy exhaust tips, a new ‘ducktail’ boot lid, and smoked taillights. Finishing off the look are a set of multi-spoke deeply dished wheels that look to have a matt black centre with a matt silver lip.

There’s currently no image of the front, however, it looks as though it’ll add some kind of beefed-up look to the Lexus spindle grille. There’s also no indication of when the TC Concepts Lexus RC F kit will be ready for purchase. We have little doubt the company will struggle to offload the trick-looking kit once it does go on sale.

Lexus currently offers the RC 350 (which comes in Luxury, F Sport, and Luxury Sport), and the RC F. The RC 350 uses a 3.5-litre V6 that produces 233kW and 378Nm, while the RC F uses a V8 that produces 351kW and 530Nm. Acceleration from 0-100km/h for the RC F takes just 4.5 seconds from rest, and can run the quarter mile in 12.5 seconds.

Prices in Australia start from $66,000 for the RC 350 Luxury and top out at $133,500 for the RC F.
