If you’re a fan of 1980’s television shows, Knight Rider has to be somewhere at the top of your list. The show featured David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, an undercover Las Vegas police detective who drove around in his 1982 Pontiac Trans Am called KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) upholding the law.

This car that’s up for auction, a 1986 Pontiac Firebird, was built for Hasselhoff and gifted to him. It features scissor doors, a custom steering wheel, custom interior lighting, and a whole bunch of gadgets (who even knows if they work) that are styled to represent the original.

Under the bonnet sits a 5.0-litre V8 engine which is mated to an automatic transmission. The seller claims that the car is fitted with 4000 sound recordings from the show… interesting.

If you’re keen, head over to the original Julien’s Live advertisement for more information. The car is located in Ireland.
