Koenigsegg Regera teaser

A teaser image from the Scandinavian madmen was released last week, announcing the Koenigsegg Regera will be unveiled early next month at the Geneva Motor Show.

Although details are few and far between, EVO is reporting the next Swedish hypercar will feature a 515kW electric motor, mated to a petrol engine. It is expected to join only a few models that are a true ‘megacar’, with an output of over 1000kW.

We already know the company is capable of unleashing 1000kW with a petrol motor. Specifically, its 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8. With a 515kW electric motor added in the combined output could be out of this world.

The Regera is likely to be based on a completely unique platform, different to the Agera and Agera R models, and is set to receive a more luxurious interior. All will be revealed on March 3.
