Looking to pull out a few tree stumps from your paddock but need a vehicle that can help you? You need the new Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6.

Yep, renowned US tuner and manufacturer Hennessey has just finalised what has to be the ultimate camping and hunting transport tool. It’s based on the latest Ford F-150 Raptor, and inspired by the Mercedes G 63 6×6.

Hennessey already offers the VelociRaptor, which is a modified version of the factory Ford Raptor. This new 6×6 version goes to all new heights thanks to a custom twin rear axle setup, effectively providing six-wheel drive. And all axles are lockable for optimum Earth-ripping grip.

Originally the project was put together for a customer in the US, but Hennessey has since announced it will be producing 50 examples for the US and another 50 for overseas markets. After initial testing, the 6×6 is now ready to order.

Power comes from Hennessey’s twin-turbo package, producing in excess of 450kW. The engine uses a large air-to-air front-mounted intercooler, with a retuned engine computer and stainless steel exhaust. Across the 0-60mph (97km/h) sprint the company says the clock stops in just 4.9 seconds.

Other highlights include heavy-duty Fox suspension, Brembo brakes, a bright LED light bar on the roof, a chunky roll bar in the tray area, and a set of 20-inch alloy wheels wearing 35-inch Toyo off-road tyres.

Hennessey is a manufacturer in its own right and the 6×6 is coming in as one of its turn-key packages. If you’re interested you’d better contact Hennessey soon as these will likely sell fast. Punters in the US can also enquire with select Ford dealerships partnered with Hennessey for more info. Prices start at US$349,000.
