Ferrari showing tailor made California T at Goodwood

Ferrari has confirmed that it will be heading to the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed this year with a one-of-a-kind tailor made California T. It shows off some of the exclusive options buyers can select from.

Ferrari California T tailor made

There’s an exotic new material which Ferrari has dubbed “Mycro Prestige”, which is waterproof, flameproof and offers an “exceptional level of grip”, much like Alcantara, but it weighs only one third of regular leather upholstery.

Mechanically speaking this is a stock California T, but it rides on new forged 20-inch wheels finished in ‘Blu Hellen’ and ‘Argento Nürburgring’, which we like the sound of very much. Under the bonnet sits a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 412kW and 755Nm.

You can think what you will of the styling being inspired by “[The] passion and colors of polo and horse racing”, but all we know is that it looks sublime in white.

The one-off is headed to Ferrari’s VIP hospitality tent at the festival of speed, where it will be the tailor made program’s testament of how much a future buyer can customise their exotic supercar. The event runs from June 25-28.
