We reviewed the SRT8 late last year, so we know first hand how cool this car is. Along with the official safety car, Chrysler has also supplied two brand spanking new SRT8s to be the course car and medical car.

Fiat Chrysler Group marketing director Mark McCraith said the SRT8s association with V8 Supercars put it on the global stage and highlighted its performance and styling elements.

Apart from the distinctive livery and flashing lights, the safety cars are the same as their road-going counterparts.
