Aston Martin V12 Zagato production car to debut at Kuwait Concours d’ Elegance

The luscious and loud Aston Martin V12 Zagato production car will make its official debut at the Kuwait Concours d’ Elegance in the Middle East, running from February 15 to 18.

Just 150 examples of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato are planned to be built, with some expected to make their way to Australian shores at some point. International deliveries will take place towards the end of this year.

The V12 Zagato features an exquisite Zagato aluminium and carbon fibre body wrapped around an Aston Martin V12 Vantage base. At the back there’s plenty of curves going on, contrasted by an angry rear diffuser underneath. The front also features curvy new contours with a large gapping front grille.

Power comes from a revised version of the Aston Martin 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 380kW of power and 570Nm of torque. Inside showcases a bespoke race-like cabin combining ‘traditional craftsmanship and high technology’. Dr Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin, recently said

“We are excited to show the new V12 Zagato for the first time in production form at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance. Over 50 years since the introduction of the iconic DB4GT Zagato, Aston Martin and Zagato have collaborated to create this modern interpretation which remains true to the original focus of craftsmanship, performance and exclusivity.”

Full details will be unveiled in just a few week’s time. Stay tuned.
