For Sale: Toyota 86 watch by Citizen

Josh Bennis

If you’re sweating to get your hands on the recently arrived 2012 Toyota 86, and really want to live and breathe the 86, the Citizen Toyota 86 watch is for you.

In our daily stumbles around the ‘Net, we came across this 86-inspired watch. It was developed as a partnership deal with Citizen, one of the world’s most renowned watchmakers.

There’s a choice of three colour combinations; red and black, white and black, and all black. Forget replacing the battery too, it uses sun power to recharge – we just heard all the greenies scream ‘woo hoo’.

Orders of the 86 watch can be made through the BEAMS Japanese online shop. It comes delivered in a neat fake carbon fibre box for that racy theme too.

The watch is priced at 38,600 Japanese Yen, which converts to approximately AU$500.

If you can’t afford the car just yet, maybe you can settle for the watch?
