Tiny Toyota Starlet turbo runs 10-second pass

If you can get the power-to-weight ratio in your car as low as possible, you know it’ll be a screamer. The owner of this turbo Toyota Starlet has done just that.

The description in the video suggests this 800-odd kilo front-driven rocket puts down around 300kW at the wheels, giving it an impressive kg:kW ratio of 2.66:1.

Amazingly, the car is said to use a 1.5-litre engine, albeit with the help of a Wolf EFI system and a Turbonetics turbocharger.

Watch as this lightweight missile powers its way to a 10-second pass.
