RamSpeed has just finished building what is Australia’s first ever Kleemann supercharged Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG. The Sydney-based company has also given the performance SUV a full matt grey wrap and satin black highlights.

Starting with the already-lethal previous-generation ML 63 AMG, which comes with the ‘M156’ 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 (375kW), RamSpeed fits the complete supercharger package from Kleemann in Denmark.

The supercharger is carved from billet aluminium by CNC machines and provides up to 0.4 bar of boost pressure (5.8psi). This alone is enough to boost engine power up to 535kW (713hp), and torque from the factory 630Nm rating to a whopping 906Nm.

Not satisfied with this extreme amount of power, RamSpeed also gave the 2262kg-ML a stage two engine computer software upgrade and a full exhaust system with new headers, high-flow catalytic converters, and some belching rear mufflers.

As a result of it all, outputs are estimated to be 552kW (740hp) and 960Nm. We were lucky enough to go for a quick ride in the snarling SUV to record some engine sounds and a 0-100km/h sprint for you. See below.

To give the beast some visual attitude, matching the serious level of under-bonnet performance, RamSpeed has fit a complete matt grey wrap over the entire vehicle. This provides an awesome sinister look, contrasted with satin black highlights such as the badges and sections of the front grille, and the Mercedes-Benz 22-inch alloy wheels.

Head over to the RamSpeed website for more information on this and plenty of other tuning applications that are on offer.
