Peugeot will unveil an all-new concept car at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show, previewing the company’s future design direction.

Peugeot concept Beijing 2014

Very little has been released on the concept at this stage, other than this teaser image. As you can see though the car will take on a sleek, sporty coupe shape. Peugeot said in a recent statement,

“With a length of 4.73m and a height of 1.31m, this concept offers athletic and refined styling for four passengers and their luggage.

“Special craftsmanship with original materials forms part of the Peugeot Style approach, first used on the Onyx Concept, and which becomes a direction for the Brand’s future vehicles.”

It’s believed the concept will be inspired by a similar theme as the Peugeot Onyx, with dramatic curves and a futuristic face. The car is also expected to showcase lots of advanced in-car technology.

A production model isn’t likely, however, it will influence at least the design layout of future models.

More details will be revealed at the show which starts on April 20.
