Many believe the concept will preview the new Maxima sedan, while Nissan says its will embody next-generation design signatures for showroom models. The company says,

“The Sport Sedan Concept previews a new energetic design direction that amplifies Nissan’s legendary approach of applying sports car principles to a sedan.”

As you can see, the front end will feature an inverted chrome front grille highlight, angular slimline headlights, aggressive bonnet contours, and a pair of aero-like panel lines that run from the headlights down into the front doors.

In other Nissan news, the company will also be showing two other concepts at the show; the IDx Freeflow and the IDx Nismo retro creations. One is inspired by the legendary Datsun 1600 while the other is inspired by the original Datsun 240K/Skyline.

All the action starts on January 13. Stay tuned for plenty of coverage.
