GeigerCars develops monster tune for Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

If, like us, you think the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is a monster in standard form, you should check out what GeigerCars has done to it for its latest tuning program.

GeigerCars Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

In standard form the SRT comes with a 6.4-litre naturally aspirated HEMI V8 producing 344kW and 624Nm. PerformanceDrive has timed 0-100km/n in just 4.9 seconds, which is an extremely quick time for such a big, beastly SUV.

If that’s not quick enough for you, GeigerCars has come up with an upgrade pack that includes a 2.9-litre supercharger, a modified engine computer, and beefier pistons. The result? How about 528kW and 776Nm. The German company says the kit slashes the 0-100km/h time down to 3.9 seconds.

To help the rest of the big Jeep match the lively character of the engine, there’s also some optional sports springs that customers can order, with larger sway bars to improve handling and reduce body roll.

For Geiger’s demonstrator vehicle a cool foil wrap in brown has been applied to boost its already imposing street presence, while a set of black 22-inch alloy wheels fill the guards nicely. The wheels match the various black trimmings around the front end.
