G-Power BMW M4 upgrade kit lifts power to 382kW

Not happy with the performance your new BMW M3 or M4 puts out? G-Power has come up with an upgrade that will appeal to power-hungry owners.

BMW M4 G-Power

The BMW M3 an M4 both use the same 317kW and 550Nm 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder engine. With G-Power’s Bi-Tronik 5 V1 upgrade power lifts to 382kW and 700Nm, a total increase of 65kW and 150Nm.

Once installed the power upgrade is only available when the engine reaches the desired water temperature, and will temporarily deactivate if the maximum permitted oil temperature is reached. As a result of the power increase, 0-100km/h comes up in 3.9 seconds, and 0-200km/h in 11.8 seconds. The car’s top speed can also be lifted from 280km/h to 325km/h if you take up G-Power’s V-max kit.

If you’re after some aesthetic upgrades, G-Power also offers 20-inch Hurricane RS forged wheels (as pictured on the G-Power BMW M4), and a GM4-RS height and pressure adjustable threaded undercarriage which is said to optimise driving behaviour.

In terms of pricing, the Bi-Tronik 5 V1 costs €3358 (approximately AU$5100), while the V-max kit is €3451 (approximately AU$5240). If you’d like a set of the Hurricane RS wheels prices start from €7998 (approximately AU$12,150), with the GM4-RS undercarriage kit costing €2427 (approximately AU$3700).
