For Sale: 1975 Nissan Fairlady Z with stroked L28

This Nissan Fairlady Z/Datsun 260Z has just been freshly imported from Japan. It’s hard to find solid examples of these aging cars, however, you might not have to look any further if you’re keen on one.

The silver 260Z appears to be in top condition, with a dint-free body and shiny paintwork. The genuine 16-inch Watanabe wheels and wheel arch flares suit the old-school Datsun perfectly.

Under the bonnet is a stroked L28 that displaces 3.0-litres of straight-six goodness. Connected to the ported head is a set of 44mm Solex triple carbs that are sure to make all the right noises under load.

The seller claims it currently makes 171kW at the wheels – not bad for an old single cam’ six. The R200 limited-slip diff means the rear wheels can spin harmoniously while you listen to the naturally-aspirated engine sing gear after gear.
